Big Hug, Inc. along with St. Patrick's Church provides free hot meals to Harrisburg’s homeless population. Linda volunteers at the church as cook and the church supplies the food. The event takes place from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the 2nd Sunday of every month. Meals will be given out on a first come-first served basis at the St. Patrick’s Church at 212 State St, Harrisburg, PA 17101.

 Big Hug, Inc. celebrated Thanksgiving with a spaghetti dinner at In the Light Ministries located at 415 South Shippen Street in Lancaster on Monday, November 21, 2022. The dinner included Spaghetti & Meatballs, an Eggroll, Soup, Garlic Bread, Coffee, Tea, Water, and Dessert. The event was free and open to the community. It was a wonderful opportunity for people to come together and enjoy a delicious meal in the spirit of Thanksgiving. 

Big Hug brought some cheer to those in need just before Christmas. They arrived at the Arch Street Center in Lancaster with 50 $10 gift cards, 20 cookie trees, and several handmade knit caps. The gift cards were distributed to those in need, providing them with a small financial boost and a tasty treat of some cookies. The knit caps were given to individuals living on the streets, helping to keep them warm during the cold winter months. Big Hug volunteers were grateful for the opportunity to put a smile on some faces and make a difference in this community. Learn more about the Arch Street Center here!
